Course Content: This course, commonly referred to as `Test and Tag`, encompasses working safely, using portable apparatus tester, indentifying faults, applying tagging, arranging for repair of faulty equipment and completing documentation.
This course is suitable for anyone who needs to perform or oversee test and tagging duties on appliances of a basic design. For example, trades people, maintenance staff, service technician.

Entry requirements (year 12)

Sudents are required to be competent in UEENEEE101A Apply occupational health and safety regulations, codes and practices in the workplace.

Applicants need to demonstrate the literacy and numeracy skills required to undertake this course through a test as part of the application process. The test will be conducted through Federation College prior to commencement of training. Feedback will be provided to the applicant on their results and types of support, if necessary, available to them.
