A cognitive enterprise is a business that combines disruptive technologies including artificial intelligence, blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT), big data and edge computing with innovative processes and data to enhance customer experience, form intelligent workflows and gain competitive advantage. IBM® is the developer of the cognitive enterprise term which is quickly being embraced globally by wider industry representing an agile and data-informed vision for a technologically connected and intelligent business future. Following recent forced disruptions due to the COVID pandemic, the adoption and adaption of digital technologies via industry has accelerated and will continue to do so at an increasing rate.
The new Graduate Diploma of Cognitive Enterprise, offered online and on-campus, has been developed to meet industry demand for career-ready graduates. During this 12 month program, you will examine key aspects of digital revolution, big data and analytics and cloud and enterprise computing, whilst also developing your analytical, leadership, communication and IT project management skills.
Graduates of this program may work in national and multi-national organisations to lead and work within digital transformation projects.

Applicants will have completed an undergraduate degree at AQF level 7 in information technology/computing. Students who have studied an AQF level 7 degree within any other discipline will need to have previously studied at least one information technology/computing course to be approved for non-cognate entry. Cognate entry via an AQF7 undergraduate degree in a discipline other than information technology/computing will have to be via an approved articulation agreement or at the Program Coordinator’s discretion.
