Meanwhile, new technologies are helping to improve productivity and change age-old practices across the almost 200,000 businesses trading in this sector.
No doubt you have a path in mind and with this program you can choose from our range of subjects to study those best suited to your interests.
You have the option of studying many specialist topics such as pasture management for livestock production, along with the “business side” of this industry with topics including budgeting and whole of farm planning, animal health management and livestock management.
Plus, you will learn in our specialised Rural Sciences Skills Center, where you can use the equipment and facilities you would find on a modern and well equipped agricultural enterprise.

Applicants need to demonstrate the literacy and numeracy skills required to undertake this course through a test as part of the application process. The test will be conducted through Federation College prior to commencement of training.
