What is electrical engineering?

Electrical engineers help power the world through creating, designing and managing electricity. When physics and mathematics of electrical systems, electromagnetism and electronics are applied, electrical engineers are able to problem solve information processing and energy transmission challenges in both large- and small-scale systems.

What is renewable energy?

Renewable energy utilises renewable sources, including solar, water, wind and geothermal energy. These sources are constantly replaced and never run out. Solar is one of the most well-known technologies, wind is the most widespread and hydropower is one of the oldest. Harnessing these technologies for electricity is constantly improving, and is applicable to many industry sectors, including transport, manufacturing, residential and commercial.
