This hands-on course is designed for people looking to enter an apprenticeship as a welder, metal fabricator, machinist (fitter and turner), maintenance technician in the metal trades manufacturing industry or who are already doing some metal trade work and would like to gain accreditation and a pathway to a full apprenticeship. During this course you will be introduced to a range of fundamental skills used in the manufacturing industry metal trades industry. This course can also provide credit.
Engineering drafting skills are in demand throughout a variety of industries.
This course will give you broad-based foundation skills, and is designed to enhance your job prospects by making you more competitive when applying for an apprenticeship.
