FUNDAMENTALS OF LEADERSHIP (BSMAN2007)

"This course is designed to introduce students to the principles of leadership behaviour. It examines leadership styles and behaviours and the capacity of leaders to network and motivate and influence others in creating a positive, professional work environment. Students will analyse and discuss the role of leaders in defining and or delivering organizational mission, goals and strategies. The course requires students to develop their understanding of leaders in team development, change management and risk mitigation within the context of legislative and legal requirements. Students are required to develop their understanding of the role of leaders in modelling professional competence and ethical organizational behaviours. Students will apply the theoretical understanding of leadership skills to their own personal and professional development."

Commonwealth supported place (CSP)
