Health and Lifestyle (EDHPE1002)

This course is designed as an introduction to health. A major underlying theme throughout this course is examining health from multiple perspectives, including an individual behaviourist perspective through to broader structural perspectives. Students will explore definitions and models of health, factors impacting health on both an individual and global level, methods of measuring the many dimensions of health and strategies to improve overall health.

For students entolled in Commonwealth Supported Place CSP), each course falls into one of three bands. The band determines the student contributuon amount (SCA) which is charged for each course. The maximum student contribution amounts are based on a standard, full-time enrolment (120 credit points per year) with courses in the same band.
