Social work, community and human services
Federation University graduates in social work, community and human services work with individuals and communities to change lives, enhance wellbeing and strengthen culturally and socially diverse communities. You will be well prepared for regional, rural, metropolitan and international practice in government, private and not-for-profit organisations. Your studies are underpinned by principles of human rights and social and environmental justice. Knowledge and skills for practice focus on social change, community development, empowerment, social inclusion, well-being and quality of life. Ultimately you will contribute to developing strong and harmonious communities free from violence and discrimination. We offer credit pathways to transition from TAFE to university studies and authentic work experiences so that you are a job-ready graduate.
