This automotive apprenticeship course aims to provide knowledge and skills in the field of light vehicle mechanics. The Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (AUR30620) course opens doors to employment within the automotive industry, specifically for light vehicles and business ownership. 4 days x 8 hour blocks, 9 times a year for 3 years. Approximately 8 hours of study prior to and following the 9 block delivery sessions per year.

Entry into this qualification requires you must be employed as an apprentice motor mechanic at the time of enrolment.

Extra Requirements

Students are required to purchase prior to attending blocks PPE Safety footwear and overalls.

Applicants need to demonstrate the literacy and numeracy skills required to undertake this course through a test as part of the application process. The test will be conducted through Federation College prior to commencement of training.
