"This is a self-directed study course for students at an advanced level in the humanities or social sciences. It is a finishing course for a discipline-based major, though it need not be the last course. With the program coordinator's prior approval students may elect to; A] Conduct independent study under the guidance of a supervisor, conduct a single research or creative project and produce a final report, or B] Engage in the development of applied skills in a work-related context and develop an integrated folio of written tasks to produce a final report. This may include creative writing projects based on research."
