"This course embeds two units of competency from the Advanced Diploma of Hospitality: SITXFIN402: Manage finances within a budget and SITXFIN501: Prepare and monitor budgets. The second of four financial courses in the Bachelor of Hospitality (Management), Budget Fundamentals introduces students to the fundamentals of budget development and monitoring. It requires the identification and analysis of financial and other business information for incorporation into the budget process. In addition to the mechanics of budgeting, BSHSP2002 considers the budget process and the behavioural repercussions of resource allocation."
