Cyber futures (HENAG1003)

This unit will provide an introduction to the key concepts in cybersecurity and the importance of the cybersecurity industry in an automated and technologically interdependent global society. The unit will provide learners with an understanding of cybersecurity terminology and the cybersecurity industry and provide strategies and insights allowing for the identification and consequences of potential cyber threats and attacks. This unit will be applicable to any person looking to understand high-level cybersecurity principles and understand potential opportunities within the industry. This may be individuals looking to transition into a cybersecurity career, students and professionals outside the IT industry looking to upskill and for current IT professionals looking to expand their knowledge. This has been designed as a short taster unit to encourage learners to undertake our more comprehensive education micro-credential, Supply Chain Cybersecurity.

Commonwealth supported place (CSP)

A CSP is subsidised by the Australian Government and students pay a contribution amount. Each unit is classified into a student contribution band, depending on the study area of the unit (this discipline may be different from the study area of your course).
